Town Board Minutes --- 2011

July 2011

Chairmman Mark Hoffmann called the regular meeting of the Cold Spring Township to order at 7:00PM. Other Board members present were, Supervisor Byron Freeman, Supervisor Rich Rozelle, Treasurer June Freeman. Absent was Clerk Lisa Griep.

Motion by Rich Rozelle to accept the June Minutes 2011 , 2nd by Byron Freeman, motion carried.

Chairman Mark Hoffmann has made contact with Attorney Mitch Simon to see if we have any power over the Grant Rice property. Mitch is going to do some research and get back to Mark. This is a result of the letter form the Jefferson County Sherriff's department claiming it may be a saftey hazard

Discussion over the letter from Jacobson Appraisals Inc. was decided that we can expect higher contract cost do the new requirements imposed on the assessors.

Sign Retoreflectivity is tabled till August 2011 meeting as the County representative was unavailable. We believe it will be Tim Punzel

Zoning and land permits were looked over and accepted. 

County Road Aid Petition Money was motioned to pay the fee by RichRozelle, 2nd by Byron Freeman, Motion carried.

Resolution 2011-#1 Ward Establishment was discussed and approved with the contingency we get a better map. Motion by Byron Freeman, 2nd by Rich Rozelle, motion carried

Treasurer report was presented. Mark Hoffman presented a Jefferson County Emergency Management Survey which the Board filled out to be sent back. Mark also presented a ballot for the merger of CPI and Landmark Services Inc. Motion to accept merger by Byron Freeman, 2nd by Rich Rozelle, Motion carried. Mark metioned the county meeting at town of Lakemills is July 26th and is requesting all Board members to attend.

Mark Hoffman stated that the Comprehesive plan accdeptance needs to be on the August 2011 agenda

Motion to pay bills as presented by Rich Rozelle, 2nd by Mark Hoffmann, Motion carried.
