Town Board Minutes --- 2011

November 2011

Chairman Mark Hoffmann called the regular meeting of the Cold Spring Township to order at 7:01PM. Other Board members present were, Supervisor Byron Freeman, Supervisor Rich Rozelle, Treasurer June Freeman. Absent was Clerk Lisa Griep.

Rich Rozelle made motion with a second by Byron Freeman to approve the October Minutes 2011,  motion carried.

Supervisor Byron Freeman has made contact with Rob Klotz of Jefferson county. Klotz advised Byron to have the town board talk with our attorney to see how we should go about adopting the counties Comprehensive plan. Chairman Mark Hoffmann made a motion to table this until Mitt Simon has a chance to look into the matter of wether we need a comprehensive plan or even need to adopt the counties plan. 

The 2012 Johns Disposal price increase was discussed and the feeling was we have to accept the increase.

Supervisor Rich Rozelle tabled the City of Whitewater Ambulance contract as we are awaiting an interpetation from attorney Mitch Simon about the  4 month billing clause as wriiten is said contract.

Rich Rozelle motioned with a second by Byron Freeman to accept the Jefferson County Humane Society contract as written, motion carried.

A review was done of the fire ordinace and all agreed that item number 4 of the ordinace covers all fire calls are the responsibility of the property owner. No other action was taken.

Zoning and land use permit application - Maloney, W4550 Findlay Road.

Rich Rozelle made motion to table the review of the Road-Right of way Ordinace until the Ordinace was found and presented.

Treasurer report was presented. 

Chairan Mark Hoffmann noted  that the fire number sign at W3456 Hwy 59 was missing and need to be replaced.

Byron Freeman motioned with a second by Rich Rozelle to pay bills as presented motion carried.

Rich Rozelle made motion with a second by Byron Freeman adjourn motion carried.
